Trips are centered around obtaining the best possible photo opportunities. To this end, we visit wildlife sanctuaries, native villages and the most spectacular landscapes. Nowhere on earth could provide more variety and scope than Nambia. We visit desert dunes, coastal landscapes, mountains and the vast plateaus of the skeleton coast.
Accomodation Camping will be in 4x4 roof tents which has matresses and is very comfortable. Its also true that there is no better way to sample the majestic skies, the calls of the wildlife and the desert calm. There will also be stops in safari lodges and hotels.
Meals will include breakfast and/or evening meal.Specific nights may have special dinners, such as when a feast is enjoyed in a local village. Also, during camping, both breakfast and dinner is included. At all other times, other meals are paid for by each member. The itenerary will give guidance on how much money is required.
Transport Return flights from London. Air conditioned 4x4 vehicles, driven by a guide. Each vehicle seats 4 people in comfort. Prepare yourself for many hours of driving - the landscape is vast and huge distances are travelled. This is true Afrika and the price for seeing its beauty is at times a long hard slog- just think of the poor elephant who has to make their way on foot!

Big Small Print We cannot say for certain where wildlife or tribes will be and when. They just dont seem to care much about that. Every effort will be made to track, find and photograph the wildlife and people but as you will see, its a little complicated. Water, drought and food play a large part in the movements of animals and people.

However, we do know that what you miss in one shot will be given back in others. There have been trips when we have not seen one elephant but have seen lions hunting. We have lost sunsets but been given amazing storms. Stranded by floods and unable to make our hotel but given amazing shooting star displays from our roof tents.

THIS IS AFRIKA
